TMAG redevelopment - a fly-through of the architect's concept plans Tube. Duration : 2.80 Mins.
The architectural design will reinvigorate TMAG using contemporary architecture that is also sympathetic to the heritage and character of the site and the waterfront setting. The Redevelopment is the largest investment in cultural infrastructure in Tasmania's history. It is estimated to cost around 0 million in today's prices, and will be delivered as a multi-stage project. Construction for the first stage is scheduled to commence in mid-2011. Visitors to the redeveloped TMAG will enjoy an engaging and vibrant outdoor civic space where archaeological evidence of Tasmania's past can be experienced in situ. The historic Watergate will be highlighted as the centrepiece of the entrance to your new museum; surrounded by heritage buildings on one side, and a new building housing a cafe and flexible program-delivery facility on the other. TMAG's treasured heritage buildings will be preserved beneath an enclosed courtyard, creating an impressive welcome space for visitors. The Bond Store and Commissariat Store will be accessible year-round, and become an important showcase of Tasmania's colonial heritage. Your new museum will be a world-class facility, providing double the current exhibition space while preserving the history and heritage that is so important to Tasmanians.

SketchBook Pro 2010 - Rover Concept Speed Painting Tube. Duration : 5.57 Mins.
Kyle Runciman - Industrial Designer New Release of SBP 2010 is unreal. This is a quick clip of a concept sketch developed with older methods. New tools such as Ruler and Ellipse were used for the sketch but aren't seen in the video. Texture brushes were also added, but how-to wasn't shown either. I'll upload a clip of some of these additions soon. Song: Ratatat - Gettysburg
