Probably no artist has done so much to inspire so many watercolour painters than the late Edward Wesson. Though he died in 1983 his paintings continue to soar in popularity and hardly a year goes by without another book celebrating the man and his art. In this DVD Steve Hall, a wonderful loose and fluid watercolour painter who has co written two books on Wesson returns to one of Ted's old haunts Walberswick on the Suffolk coast to demonstrate the magic of Ted's painting technique. Using Ted's trademark "French polisher's" mop brush Steve paints four scenes that were favourites with Ted and reveals the secrets behind Ted's deceptively simple painting techniques.
