Minecraft: Architecture Inspiration 2011-4-27 Video Clips. Duration : 22.72 Mins.
Something a little different this time. I talk about some of the real world architecture that have inspired the things I have built in Minecraft so far. I think it's important to understand that good ideas generally don't just come from nowhere. There's nothing wrong with drawing inspiration from others, as long as you take the time to learn from it and understand it and try to make it better. Things I talk about here: - Laputa: Castle in the Sky, by Studio Ghibli - Neoclassical architecture, specifically the British Museum and The Bank of Britain - Park Guell, by Antonio Gaudi, in Barcelona, Spain - Roman bridges and aqueducts - Art deco statues - The Spanish Steps, in Rome, Italy - Traditional Pagodas
